How To Fill Out Your Absentee Ballot!
-
Once you receive the ballot, mark the ballot for Jackie!
-
Mark the oval next to Jackie’s name under the party of your choice. Jackie will appear on 3 different party lines (Democrat, Working Families Party, and Independence Party). Only vote for Jackie Gordon under one party! Filling in multiple ovals for Jackie will invalidate your ballot.
-
Make sure not to make any extra markings such as lines, circles, or notes. This could invalidate your ballot!
-
-
Once you have completed marking your ballot, fold it up and place it in the security envelope.
-
This envelope will have a place for your signature.
-
Make sure to sign and date the outside of the security envelope! This is the number one reason ballots aren’t counted.
-
-
Seal the security envelope.
-
Place the security envelope in the return envelope.
-
This envelope will have the return address of your county Board of Elections on the outside and should have a logo that reads, “Official Election Mail”
-
-
Seal the Return Envelope.
-
